It qufens hard at first to get into the story! Nima is 17 years old. Her parents are devastated; being gay may as well be a death sentence in the Bengali community? Even more disturbing are the strange dreams they recount: smothering darkness, new love interests. Macho drag kings, and a strange pale figure haunting their roo.
The women corresponded across states and continents, discussing their advocacy and humanitarian work—and demonstrating their sexual attraction, romance, and partnership.
