From the very start, her writings have illuminated the everyday dramas of ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances. So hard to believe this is a debut novel, a married couple. It was pretty graphic and terrifying in the series but the novel involves ice cream sex, Beck pretending to be dead and Joe strangling her when she tries to run away. I predict a great future ahead for Lisa Hall and I will certainly be recommending Between You And Me to everyone who loves a psychological thriller.
